What is TINY KITCHEN?
TINY KITCHEN is a modular kitchen system that rethinks the kitchen as a piece of furniture. Instead of planning every kitchen from scratch, already developed units are selected, combined and individually configured. This creates solutions ranging from a single kitchen unit to a generous kitchen landscape.
How does the TINY KITCHEN modular system work?
TINY KITCHEN is based on around 80 already developed and technically defined units in different sizes and with different functions. A single unit can already function as a complete kitchen. Several units can be combined to form Composite Units or larger kitchen configurations.
Can I combine TINY KITCHEN units individually?
Yes. The units can be combined according to the space, required functions and individual needs. Front design, colour, material and equipment can be individually configured within the system.
Is TINY KITCHEN only suitable for small spaces?
No. TINY KITCHEN works equally well in compact apartments and tiny houses as it does in generous living spaces. By combining several units, the system can grow with the space and the changing needs of its users.
What is the difference between TINY KITCHEN HOME and OFFICE?
HOME and OFFICE are two product worlds within the same modular system. HOME is floor-standing and does not use a conventional kitchen plinth. OFFICE units sit on a visible steel frame, giving them a lighter appearance and visually lifting them off the floor.
Both versions can be used in private homes as well as in workplaces and communal spaces.
Which designs and materials are available?
TINY KITCHEN is available in six front designs and a curated selection of colours and materials. These include Furniture Linoleum, bamboo, wood surfaces, FENIX®, Ultramatt and laminate. Bamboo is also used for cabinets and drawers.
Which worktops are available for TINY KITCHEN?
As standard, TINY KITCHEN comes with a 4 mm solid, warm-rolled stainless-steel worktop. Alternatives include ALPINOVA Re-Stone®, European natural stone, bamboo, terrazzo and Durat®.
Is TINY KITCHEN sustainable?
TINY KITCHEN is designed around durability, repairability and adaptability. Units can be dismantled, moved, reconfigured and extended. Individual components can be repaired or replaced without replacing the entire kitchen.
The GREEN LINE complements this principle with materials such as bamboo and Furniture Linoleum made predominantly from biobased and natural raw materials.
Can I extend my TINY KITCHEN later?
Yes. Existing units can be rearranged and additional units can be added. This allows the kitchen to adapt to a new home, more space or changing life circumstances.
Can I take TINY KITCHEN with me when I move?
Yes. TINY KITCHEN is not designed as a fitted kitchen permanently tied to one particular space. The units can be dismantled, transported and reassembled or reconfigured in a new location.
How does assembly work?
The components are precisely prefabricated and can be assembled without special tools. We recommend assembly by a carpenter or professional installer. A three-unit configuration can be assembled in approximately one working day, with assembly videos providing additional guidance.
